I see London, I see France..

One of the problems with having favorite clothes and losing a bunch of weight is that things start to fit differently. I learned that lesson today.

I've got a favorite pair of jeans (who doesn't, right?) that I pulled off the shelf in my closet as I was getting dressed this morning and stepped in to them They were getting baggy with my recent weight loss but I figured with a belt they'd be fine.

But by the time I got to the office I realized that I'd failed to account for the fact that today I also decided to wear a pair of silky pink panties rather than the much thicker cotton boxer briefs I had originally picked out. Between the extra room in my jeans (despite the belt cinched up all the way) and the thin material of my undies I was having a hard time keeping my pants up.

And that's where the fun began. Every time my jeans slipped down on my hips, the waistband.. the pink and frilly waistband of my panties became exposed and I have to hurry to pull them up or become exposed to all the normals at the office. Now to be fair was also wearing a hoodie that hung down to mostly cover up my exposure but I was still at great risk of exposure and as many of you know, that is part of the thrill!

It's the most magical time of the year

Well boys and (would be) girls, it is the most wonderful time of the year for crossdressers. It's nearly Halloween!

It's that time of the year when closet dressers get to step out on the town in all their pretty, sexy, or slutty clothes and feel fairly safe. Think about how many hairy male nurses you've seen; or French maids with 5 O'clock shadow. They'll all claim that their wives or girlfriends 'made them do it' but we all know the truth.

So if you run across a guy in an Elvira outfit this year at work be sure to complement him. But also make note of who he is. You can almost be sure that he'll be wearing panties the rest of the year and that could make for some interesting water cooler talk.

A lazy morning for doing it all

Monday morning found me taking a day off from work for mental health reasons. I didn't know she was planning on doing it but my wife then announced that she was leaving to spend the day with her sister up in town (about 20 min away, we live a bit in the sticks). Suddenly I found myself looking at several hours of undisturbed alone time. Well what's a crossdress to do? Everything.

After a long hot bubble bath and smooth shave of all the required parts I dried off and dusted my whole body lightly in a lavender scented powder. Then I stepped in to the bedroom and put on all my foundation garments (stockings, garterbelt, panties, bra with silicone titties, and slip). Next it was back to the bathroom to put on all my makeup. Now since I had the whole morning to myself I had decided that I was going to go all the way with my dress-up time today.

I put on all of the following makeup in basically this order; liquid foundation, consealer, foundation powder, eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, a tiny touch of blush, face powder, lip gloss, lip liner, lip stick and a final coat of lip gloss. After I had my face looking good, I tweaked my hair around a bit with the curling iron and then it was back to the bedroom for the rest of my outfit.

I selected a lightweight blue button up dress with a white Hawaiian flower pattern on it. I like this dress since it shows a nice amount of cleavage and depending on the number uf buttons I leave undone I can show quite a bit of leg, like I did today. Lastly I slipped in to a pair of navy pumps I got just to go with the dress and the spent several minutes admiring myself in the mirror.

As I mentioned I don't get fully dressed up that often anymore so it was fun to spend the effort to make it look just right.

Once I tore myself away from the mirror I headed out to the rest of the house where I fixed myself some breakfast and read the news. Then I opened up my work laptop and checked in on my email. Good thing I did becasue I had forgot about a conference call I had to dail in to today. I surfed around for a bit on the net and then made my call for work, spending the whole time in what was almost office attire. Yet somehow I think I'd be visiting HR if I walked in to work wearing these clothes.

After that was done I spent a little time in some self love and was headed for a serious orgasim when my wife called and asked if I wanted anything for lunch, she was going to be home soon. We talked for a few and she quickly figued out what I had spent the whole morning doing. She told me not to change. She wanted me all pretty for when she got home.

So I've killed a few minutes jotting down this post and now I'm going to go touch up my makeup and wait for my wife to get home and the real fun to start.

Purge and Replace

This weekend I'm planning on doing something that nearly every CD does at least once in his life.. the dreaded purge.

Now more often that not the purge is an attempt to put all this "girlie stuff" behind him and get on with his life sans crossdressing. For one reason or another he has given up trying to live with his female side and decided to quit cold turkey. For everyone who has been there you know that it's folly and it's not long before a new pair of pink panties has found its way in to our dresser drawers.

However, my planned purge for this weekend has nothing to do with me giving up on my sissy side. Just the opposite in fact. I am about to take on a new role at work and have need to update my wardrobe a bit so I'm going to be cleaning out ALL of my clothes from my half of the closet, all my dresser drawers and storage under the bed. From suits and ties to sock and undies, nothing will go without inspection. I'll be tossing out the old, the wrong sized, the out of style, and the just plain ugly.

The best part of it? Once I 've made room and figured out what I need it'll be time to start shopping. I am geting a nice raise and a sepperate unrelated bonus from work that will show up in my wallet right at the first of the year. I've already told Wife that a good chunk of it is destined for new clothes but I put a spin on it.

After so many years of buying most of my female clothing I have asked Wife to do some internet shopping to find some femme things for me that she thinks are sexy. Remember boys, if you want your women to play along with your dress-up games be sure that she is happy too. Letting her pick out some of your clothes is a great way to do that.

A Week in the Life

Have you seen the story in the Daily Mail about a guy who spent a week as a woman in all aspects except for donning a dress?

Here is the link. It's an interesting read to be sure.

The wife is the one who brought this to my attention and we've been talking about trying our own version of that some time soon. In addition to the sorts of changes mentioned in the column she also wants me to totally give up boxers for the week in favor of panties and spend all of my nights sleeping in nightgowns. It all sounds good by me. We just need to set a date. I'll be sure to report back to you all when I know when, along with daily updates.

Ever since I started reading Slashdot so many years ago I have wanted to say that.

I'm a crossdressing Gen X guy who is exploring some of his femme issues here on an quasi-anonymous blog.

The idea here is mostly to give myself a forum to air out my own personal exploration with what it means to be a corssdresser in the context of the rest of my life and hopefully benefit other crossdressers in the process.
